About The ALS Association of Greater Los Angeles Area Chapter

The Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the ALS Association is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of leading members of our local community. We are the only organization dedicated solely to fighting ALS. The Greater Los Angeles chapter provides services to persons with ALS and their families through a network of professional staff and highly trained volunteers.  Contact the ALS Association of Greater Los Angeles. 

"It is the mission of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association to provide meaningful assistance for persons with ALS, their families, caregivers and health care professionals in the Greater Los Angeles area." (Rev. 2003)

• Provide services for Patients with ALS (PALServices)
  • Monthly support groups located throughout the Greater Los Angeles area
  • Equipment Loan Pool
  • Augmentative Equipment Evaluations and Loan
  • Case Management
  • Educational Programs
  • Advocacy Programs

  • Coordinate Volunteer programs
  • Host ALSA Events
  • Fundraising and Donor Services
  • Media Awareness Programs
